There were so many things that ultimately made no sense because of everything they cut out of the film (the tidal wave and all that *****) and when it was all put together it was just plain stupid. The ending especially,... Full review

Another absurd De Palma thriller, but not as annoying as many of his other ones. The dialog and even the acting are occasionally sub-par or a touch laughable (e.g. Cage talking to the boxer, Sinise revealing himself to Cage, etc.)... Full review

Good concept. Poorly executed. There's a fight scene that reminds me of my kids playing heavyweight champion. Two flabby, out-of-shape actors; poor fight choreography; poor acting. Too many coincidences. OK for tv. But do something worthwhile while you're watching.... Full review

Fittingly, then, Snake Eyes is about multiple perceptions of one major event, their relationship to each other and to the audience.
