The technicals are efficiently carried out and the film has a jumpy, edgy feel, which works to its benefit. The rest of the film is not much easier to understand although there are snatches of action and character interplay that are interesting ... Full Review

That leaves the door wide open to bring all the cool characters from Smokin' Aces back to shoot an impossible amount of bullets, rockets and playing cards at each other. Just kidding - the third project is a cop corruption flick based on an Ellroy novel called White Jazz , although I bet Carnahan could write the shit out of Fluffy Bunny's Big Day . ... Full Review

This is not a good movie. Carnahan has done the same with Smokin Aces and his percentage is not bad. Smokin' Aces might be the best Tarantino riff of 1994. These scenes are incredible and hilarious and yet have nothing to do with anything else. ... Full Review
