Danny Boyle has come up with some interesting cinema, certainly defining himself as someone above average. What he achieves in "Slumdog Millionaire" is transcend the line between inspiration and a miracle, awakening an emotional connection to the very special element great... Full review

An exhilarating realistic fairy tale that will make you feel like flying. I certainly felt it. Rewarding without being opportunistic. This tale of two orphan brothers in a slum of Bombay is a mixture of heart wrenching and uplifting emotions. I... Full review

This film is such a return to form for Danny Boyle, not that Sunshine was a bad film, I really liked his attempt at sci-fi. This features a zest and energy like Trainspotting. This "Third World" underdog story should sweep the... Full review

This is an extraordinary film. From the original concept of the novel on which it is based (Q&A by Vikas Swarup), the screenplay by Simon Beaufoy (Full Monty) but especially the masterful creation and direction of the film by Danny Boyle.... Full review

Slumdog Millionaire is Boyle's best movie to date and could easily be called a masterpiece, not only of filmmaking but also of storytelling and cinematography. And unlike many great films that are so emotionally overwhelming and oppressive that they do not court repeat viewings, Slumdog Millionaire is sure to warrant several replays in years to come. ... Best film I saw here: Slumdog Millionaire (with Flame & Citron a close second). loves the kid, thinks it's a great movie that people will enjoy, but ol' WB is on a fixed income and can't really support it. Boyle is one of my favorite directors, always bringing a great visual style to everything from genre flicks ( 28 Days Later , Sunshine ) to family dramas ( Millions ). ... Full Review
