Burtons vision was in fact far more faithful to the fantastic Dahl book than the frankly cock-awful Wilder movie (of which Wilder is the ONLY good thing).....But the movie is still going to be freaking awesome.....Burton's movies all look unique whatever else may be wrong with them.....I saw Sleepy Hollow the other night on TV and Christopher Walken's Headless Horseman made the whole flick well worth watching, despite numerous other flaws..... ...
