Singh Is Kinng

with so much promotion and marketing this film was a predicted blockbuster but after watching it, i feel it wasn't worth the wait. The story was mediocre, the morals were good, the actors were average, nuthin was mindblowing. It seems as if i have seen the same scenes before from other films. Happy singh(akshay) is a mischievous, happy-going brat and is hated by the local poeple in his village in punjab. They hate his carnage, so they send him off to australia to collect the king/don who was originally from their village, so he can meet his dad on his death bed. In the airport his plane tickets get mixed up with sumone else's and he ends up in egypt. On a wander around he meets sonia(katrina), he save her bag from a thief. He has fallen in love with her but has to go bck to australia. In australia he finds the king, he refuses to go back, in one meeting they are attcked by enemies and the king gets shot, so happy takes him to hospital. He has paralysis and mistakenly happy is made the king. Happy then uses his power for good and transfroms all the kings men into good hearted people. Happy then helps this woman (kirron kher), who had helped him b4, to create a drama to her daughter that she is still rich. They move into the kings mansion waiting for he daughter. As you can predict her daughter is sonia(katrina), she has brought her fiance puneet(ranvir shorey). On meeting she recognises happy and from that moment ranvir notices their relationship. The drama carries on for a while, untill katrina finds out the truth, ranvir feels he has lost katrina to akshay to he hires thugs to take him out, the wedding day has come and the carnage begins. Accidently akshay and katrina end up married in he end. The movie has its flaws, i was watchin the movie and it brought no type of expression on my face, the credits was the best part wid snoop doggy dogg, the songs were not to my liking. Expect nuthin but a few tickles from this so called blockbuster hits.

One can imagine the massive motivation Bazmee might have derived from this '2-word plot-point' following which he defined two obvious characters as Singh and King and fabricated a screenplay around them as per customized requirements. ... Unlike most of this year's films, the soundtrack is an absolute winner, and completely appropriate to the tone of the film, with Akshay ensuring we look at the screen throughout the song duration anyway. And that's the formula Anees Bazmee has wisely decided on in his unashamedly Akshay-showcasing film Singh Is Kinng [ Images ] , and everything from script to sense takes a backseat as the actor makes an utter idiot out of himself and, clearly enjoying himself all the while, conquers the screen while at it. ...
