It's really great to see....Sanjay Suri is extraordinary while Arunoday Singh just blocks off our cognizance....keep enjoying the slow-melodrama with eye-catching visuals of Kashmir.....Sikandar' starts off on a dramatic touch with a school-going Sikandar (Parzan Dastur) and Nasreen (Ayesha Kapoor), the friends with more liking for each other.....Filmmaker Piyush Jha has very-well handled the screenplay adding equal proportions of dulcet drama as well tingling twists..... ... Happily, Sikandar has two engaging child actors playing the lead.....The scenic splendour of Sikandar is never compromised.....Jha keeps the narrative purposely intimate.....that suits the film's purposes fine as long as the drama doesn't get diluted.....It's a sincere attempt that doesn't quite draw out the emotions it means to..... ... Ayesha Kapur, the elegant child actress from Black, did a spectacular job in this movie as well.....The climax is quite a dozy, the final twist really is quite a bizarre, being untrue to its characters....The movie captured splendour and serenity of Kashmir very well and unlike other movies Skindar is based on a child.....Enigmatic and considerate, Quadir envelops Sikandar into his fold.....S ikandar is a simple story, told with brazen filminess is based on Sikandar Raza a fourteen year old schoolboy in Kas ...
