The film looks good and realistic.....The beginning of Shrink confused me....It's smart, funny....Shrink is a better movie than I thought I was sitting down to watch.....As if a so-so Superman movie, cruddy biopic, and stint in the theater took him away from "acting..... ... Full Review

A major highlight of this film is how almost-right it gets Hollywood, from the neurotic agents to the drunk actors, the sadly abused assistants....starving screenwriters to the fake interactions.....Even with such a promising cast, including the marvelous Keke Palmer , this story falls flat.....Shrink finds Kevin Spacey at his ultimate level of apathy, playing that droll pathetic character we've come to know and sigh with all too well..... ... These characters are intriguing in their own ways, especially when we sense Williams restraining himself from bolting headlong into his descriptions of sexual improbabilities....Directing emotional traffic amid these problems, the Spacey character is coming to pieces.....When he found few interesting Hollywood projects, he went to the London stage, took over management of the Old Vic, and reinvented himself.....Working within the range we frequently find him, Kevin Spacey is a master..... ...
