Apun ka Choice
Tusshar Kapoor is convincing, while other actors like Rohit Roy , Shabbir Ahluwalia and Aditya Lakhia stay on the sidelines.
There are some emotional moments to lend a raw sentimentality to the flick.

The upbeat trend continued in his last releases and now when the baton has shifted to Apoorva Lakhia in SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA, there seems to be array of vivid musical talents clubbed together in a contemporary Bollywood format.
Its a messy soundtrack where bunch of dreaded bhai celebrate in intoxication and shows their cruel dominance in all sections of society (films, politics etc).

The Ae Ganpat chal daru la number from Apoorva Lakhias Shootout at Lokhandwala might be topping the charts now, but interestingly it was never meant to be a part of the film.
Apoorva had the entire character sketch in his mind; my only contribution was the kohl that Fatim uses, says Rohit describing this film as a great acting experience.

Last night while watching Shootout at Lokhandwala (SAL) I was beaming with joy, gloating in a pool of pride and all this not because I am proud of Apoorva Lakhia's directorial skills but because I was spot on with my prediction .
Apoorva Lakhia, no offenses but you seem to have gone from bad to worse with every film of yours.

You ought to have a strong stomach to absorb a film like Shootout At Lokhandwala .
Shootout At Lokhandwala is the story of a top cop [Sanjay Dutt], who along with Kaviraj Patil [Suniel Shetty] and Javed Shaikh [Arbaaz Khan], eliminated the trigger-happy gangsters in a residential locality of Mumbai.

Inspired by true events but highly dramatized as is expected of the Bollywood factory, this film surprisingly evokes neither empathy nor awe.
These attempts barely scratched the surface and left the plot seeming even more inadequate than it would've if these peeks had been left out altogether.

Shootout At Lokhandwala has curtailed its audience by its crude and violent theme with a natural touch throughout.
His performance is marvelous throughout and is worth applause.
Neha Dhupia is good.
Vivek Oberoi is good in his role as a gangster.
