The film is so dark, so violent, so gruesome....Raju Mavani is fair.....The predictable plot only adds to the woes.....Sajid, Sherveer Vakil and Dinesh Lamba are passable.....the hardcore masses might not give Shiva its mandate due to its outdated plot..... ... Full Review

Sadly, 'Shiva' has opened to terrible reviews all over with hardly any good word floating about the film.
The hackneyed plot is said to be the reason behind the film's final outcome.

Performance wise, the action scenes elevated the image of the hero Mohit Ahlawat.
