Larry Richert and John Mowod are Defendants in a law suit for FRAUD for the feature film Shannon's Rainbow. Where is the picture!

It's a shame this film is tied up in a law suit- I hear that the director Frank E Johnson and his lawyer Joseph Pia from Utah pulled off a huge scam and stole millions of dollars which is why the film is in a lawsuit. My sympathy goes to the producers who got cheated. i can't wait to see this movie when it comes out.

The stars, Claire Forlani, Julianne Michelle, Louis Gossett Jr, Eric Robers, Stephen Colletti, Daryl Hannah and Steve Guttenberg gave outstanding performances. I agree, it is a good movie with a great message, uplifting, very fine cast of outstanding actors. My wife and I saw the movie on the 21st also, and wanted to see it again at the Palm Beach Int. Film Festival this week, April 23-27, 2009, then we heard that some not so nice people are trying to destroy this picture. What is going on. I guess where there is something "good" there are also "bad eggs". I do not know the story, but I would like to know more about this big "law suit" I heard about and read about. My uncle in PA should me this story on "courthouse news service April 21 Joseph DiPalma". The Exec. Producers Stewart Rahr and Joseph Di Palma (my uncle met both of these gentlemen) want to protect their rights and the picture. Defendants are Frank E. Johnson, Lawrence Richert, Kelly Nelson, and I was told a lawyer named Joseph G. Pia of Utah. If anyone has news, please let me know. We love this picture!

I saw Shannon's Rainbow on March 21. 4 Stars, very entertaining...holds your attention, you will cry and laugh, great movie! Go see it! Claire Forlani and Julianne Michelle give outstanding performances as the mom and Shannon. The cast is strong. The director, Frank Johnson, the producer, Joycelyn Engle, and the writers, John Mowod and Larry Richert were all there. Stephen Colletti was there. So many stars in this movie. I heard a billionaire named Stewart Rahr is the Exec Producer. We looked for him, but did not meet. We looked for ERIC ROBERTS. He is terrific! Great movie. I will see it again!
