In the process, the film is not faithful to the original....The screenplay is contrived....The music of Devi Sri Prasad is nothing great.....the film falls flat in the romantic interludes between Shankar and Dr Sunitha (Sonali Bendre).....If you are a Chiranjeevi fan, Shankar Dada MBBS is the right tonic, what the doctor prescribed..... ...
