Never a concept to tax the minds of its young audience, the film, too will have its greatest appeal for those whose age is in the one digit range or whose IQ is in the lower two digit range.
very good looking, is flailing, Velma (Linda Cardellini), the smart one, and you know this because she wears glasses and has short hair, is coming up with a plan, and Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) and Scooby Doo (a computer generation), are wreaking their own special brand of havoc

Unless you're a fanatic, the best advice is Scooby Don't, for this $90 million live action version of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon from the 80s is a work of Super Mario Brothers sized miscalculation.

Bounding to DVD, Scooby-Doo is presented in its theatrical aspect ratio and the vivid colour transfer is good.
A DVD's extras are only as good as the movie, so there's nothing to go barking mad over here.
