With dynamic music, including EU's hit "Da Butt", and dance numbers choreographed by Otis Sallid (Fame), Lee successfully challenges viewpoints about self-identity and self-esteem in this original, contemporary musical comedy.
I could go on and on about this film and how many things were talked about after it was seen, but in the February issue of Vibe Magazine, there is a great piece on this film that should read to get an understanding on the impact that 'School Daze' had on many.

When I see this scene, all I can think of is that Lee should have dropped a cow.
