Saw III does little beyond repeating its predecessor's tropes on a gorier level. The cinematic style is no good either.... Full review

Fist, watch I and II before this. Second, this film really is the turning point for the series, for better for many, for worse for many. I say way better. While it's more an episode in a series, it delivers more... Full review

Saw 3 would most likely be the film to win most absurd horror flick in years. Its story was exceptionally good, it explained backstories, gave good life lessons, and also explained thehistory of the villianous Jigsaw. It does have some high... Full review

A trilogy of pure torture, brutal overkill expression of those connections between ideas that awaken amusement and pleasure. All bets are off, the tables are turned. "Saw III" delivers gruesome scenes of intense and profound fear and a twisted plot ending.... Full review

The Saw series bounced back from Saw 2

Saw 3 is a really good movie. I liked it a lot. The acting isn't the best though except by Jigsaw. The visuals are always unreal and very disturbing and the story is close to as good as the first one.... Full review
Different, but just as bad

This one's different from 2, as it attempts to be more serious. However, it is only more annoying, aggravating, even as it gets more gruesome. It should have just destroyed the series with it's throwaway plot.... Full review

Shame then, that his almost instantly greenlighted Saw III is such a dull, pointlessly cluttered, over-plotted and joyless gorefest that mistakes cruelty for ingenuity. All of these poorly essayed characters are awkwardly crammed into the action and almost none of their plights pay off in any kind of compelling or remotely logical way. ... Full Review
