Nothing like the 1st movie

This should not even be called Starship Troopers. It is hardly like the last movie. You will be disappointed if you saw the first movie.... Full review
Nonsense sci-fi

Quite an unusual cast for a sci-fi action flick. It was amusing to witness 63-year-old Kirk Douglas kick butt and save the day. He simply fails to convince, and should have remained with the usual Westerns and such he's most... Full review
There's something about Farrah Fawcett.

Two scientists / lovers, Adam and Alex are stationed on Saturn's third moon seeking possible sources of food for Earth's growing shortage. Soon Benson, who's posing as Captain James, joins them and he has brought along components of a robot... Full review

Of all the Sci-fi movies I watched as a youngster this is one of those that stuck in my mind. I didn't even care so much for the story as I did imagining myself on an adventure far away from home.... Full review
Depressingly awful

This is one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time -- and not amusingly awful, or stupendously awful, just depressingly awful. For an 80's movie the special effects aren't really that bad, but the acting and directing... Full review

I had watched this as a kid on local TV in the early 1980s (when only black-and-white sets still existed in Malta!) and, even if I knew it was no great shakes, some sequences from it (Kirk Douglas' nude fight... Full review

I really wanted to gouge my eyes out after watching this. I can stand any of their voices and I think that an animal of some sort wrote this. Probably a Raccoon.... Full review
In 1980, Saturn 3 was released. Since then it's been mocked, laughed at, even ripped-off by so-called "Classic" (Some actually deserved it, though.). Although it's rough on the edges, and suffers from some editing problems, effects, and a low budget,... Full review
SATURN 3 , A SCI-FI CLASSIC.......

"SATURN 3" WAS MADE IN 1980. THE SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE NOT UP TO PARE(THANK GOD THERE IS NOT A WHOLE LOT). BUT, THE FILM IS SO VISUALLY STUNNING! FROM THE 6 FOOT REAL ROBOT, TO THE SETS , TO THE PURE... Full review
Can't take your eyes off Farrah!!!!!!

Not a huge Sci-Fi fan but love Farrah and she is gorgeous in this movie. Could of teamed her up with a better leading man, and we could of went without seeing Kirk Douglas' old ass. But its worth it to... Full review

In any case, my confusion is pointless and stupid when the movie is taken as a whole. Benson is something unknown to the girl, who enjoys a blissful ignorance due to being assigned to Saturn 3 at a young age. ... Full Review

Time Out
Some handy tips on how to enjoy Saturn 3 One, you can play 'Spot the Rip-off', a game requiring only a cursory knowledge of successful sci-fi/horror movies. Or you can while away the credibility gaps by guessing how much Kirk Douglas got paid for not cracking up over lines like 'I guess I'm near abort-time', or how much Martin Amis got paid for writing them. ...
