Saravana

Director K S Ravikumar is here directing 'Saravana' which is a remake of the Telugu hit Bhadra. It stars Silambarasan and Jyothika in the lead. The Telugu original starred Ravi Teja and Meera Jasmine. The story is about a college fresher who falls in love with his friend's sister after seeing her on a VCD. The hero tries hard to impress his ladylove and experiences lot of twists and turns in his love story. The film has action and romance. The music is scored by Srikanth Deva. The support cast includes Prakash Raj, Vivek and Nagesh. Director Ravikumar has indicated ''Saravana'' to be a Pongal treat for the Tanil audience.

Saravanaa (2006) is a Tamil film directed by K.S. Ravikumar. The film stars Silambarasan and Jyothika. This film was a high-budget production and the soundtrack was composed by Srikanth Deva. This love story is set in the backdrop of a village war starring Prakash Raj, Vivek and Nagesh. It enjoyed relative success. The soundtrack was a great hit and used the introduction of an old Black Eyed Peas number, Don’t Phunk With My Heart. Released on Pongal 2006 along with Paramasivan, Aadhi and Pasa Kiligal.
