Road

Arvind Chauhan (Vivek Oberooi) and Lakhsmi (Antara Mali) are in love with each other. Lakhsmi's dad, a senior police inspector, hates Arvind, and so Arvind and Lakshmi decide to elope and get married. On the way they allow Babu, a stranded motorist, to ride with them. After a short while, Babu irritates both of them and they ask him to leave, instead Babu draws a gun, and asks Arvind to get out, and drives away with Lakhsmi. Arvind, with the help of a truck-driver, Inderpal (Makrand Deshpande), catches up with Babu, and Babu runs away. Arvind files a police report, and they proceed on their way. That's when they find Babu in the back of their vehicle, angry and resentful, and this time determined to have his way with them...

Road is a 2002 Hindi movie produced by Ram Gopal Varma and directed by Rajat Mukherjee, starring Vivek Oberoi, Manoj Bajpai and Antara Mali. Road is a remake of the Hollywood film Duel.
Arvind (Vivek Oberoi) and Lakshmi (Antara Mali) are in love and want to get married, however, Lakshmi's father is against their marriage. Hence the two decide to elope from Delhi and get married in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. They bump into a smooth-talking hitchhiker Babu (Manoj Bajpai) who is stranded in the middle of nowhere. Babu convinces the young couple to give him a lift. Travelling with Babu proves an irritation for Arvind and Lakshmi. Soon, Lakshmi finds herself hostage of an armed Babu. Thanks to the timely intervention of truck driver Inderpal (Makrand Deshpande), Arvind rescues Lakshmi from Babu's clutches.
