I'm not sure where all the negativ reviews are coming from, but I enjoyed this movie. The acting was great, and it had a sweet message. It's a little slow, but the story works well.... Full review

A lot of bad stereotypes of ethnic groups both positive and negative. It seems like a good movie. Yet, it was told without credibility. Not realistic.... Full review

I wanted to leave the theatre within like a half hour of seeing it. I was literaly struggling to stay in my seat. I could not leave cuz my mom had paid to see this movie. Anyway, she also thought it... Full review
This was a very entertaining film with just the right mixture of action, drama, romance and intrigue. The latter - a big shock that occurs two-thirds of the way through the story - gives it its unique flavor. Otherwise, it's... Full review

Sam's the man! Hartnett has never been better. The story of a young journalist discovering what it means to be a father broke my heart. I have a young boy and the movie made me cry at the end. Slow here... Full review

So what if it's a "gooey" movie about fathers and sons - as the critic wrote above. It's a well written script with great performances from Jackson and Hartnett (by far Josh's best performance to date). There are a million chick... Full review

A good film about the nightmare of trusting a stranger. A good story with some credible acting. There is nothing remarkable about the sound and I don't even remember any theme music 30 minutes after watching the film ... Full Review

But even if "people" are a problem for writers, Resurrecting the Champ is responsible for using the Champ's complicated story to tell Erik's simpler one. Inspired by J.R. Moehringer's Los Angeles Times magazine article of a decade ago, Resurrecting the Champ emphasizes the seductiveness of Erik's success. ... Full Review

Its faults aside, Resurrecting the Champ is an interesting tale about the intent of lying and the strengths of good old-fashioned work.
