Jake Gyllenhaal gets better with each role and here he is impressive as the novice CIA analyst forced to confront his own conscience.
Political and topical, this gripping thriller takes a sharp look at the nebulous quicksand that lies between good and evil.

So, I would highly reccomend this film to anyone over 14, for it is brutally violent and filled with profanity.
You see, Hans is a bit harsh on films, and felt that it was sort of slow, but this is my review and I didn't see that.

Despite these criticisms, I can't call Rendition a bad film.
If it focused more on characters and plot and less on political commentary, Rendition might've become more potent.

Don't be silly.

With Rendition , Hood is attempting to raise awareness of a disgraceful issue facing our nation; certainly an admirable task for his first Hollywood film.
Hood disagrees strongly with the use of this tactic and is upset by the apathy and intentional ignorance of the American people.
