I was fortunate enough to go to the premier. This movie is funny as hell and brims with Southern flavor. Ray, Walt, Lisa, and Phil (RIP) have created a great Southern comedy.... Full review

The inestimable Goggins is great, of course....It's a more humane brand of comedy.....McKinnon draws wonderful performances from the cast he's assembled.....Blount plays Southern suburban-housewife desperation perfectly (when Randy tells her she might be clinically depressed, the glare she shoots him is one of the best moments in the film)..... ... Randy responds to him the only way he knows how clumsily. Not a very good movie, on the whole, but there are laugh-out-loud moments and there's promise in the unusual world it depicts. ... Full Review

The movie was well worth the drive. I thought the deadpan comedy of Walton Goggins and Lisa Blount were equally impressive. I thought Ray McKinnon did a super job in his dual role, and was most entertaining as Cecil dancing for his partner. ... Full Review
