Also actors do tend to go overboard when adapting to accents in films but Madhavan's Bihari accent in the film is flawless. And despite the international set-up, the film thankfully doesn't fall into the trap of condemning foreign culture or endorsing desi traditions. ... Full Review

If only the film were shorter, and tighter. First time director Sanjay Dayma, who has been credited with the script of Lagaan, has a nice, light touch (the Bihar village scenes, filled by great little walk on parts who have the intonations down pat, are quite wonderful; the ones in London include much more than the stock red tourist double-decker and the cruiser down the Thames), and a lot of the dialogues, written by Madhavan, bring a great deal of liveliness to the movie. ...
