The movie looks great on Blu-ray....Along with Hutchison, he constantly overacts and comes off as simply goofy.....It is pretty straightforward and predictable with Punisher accidentally killing an undercover cop;....some of the killing scenes seem extremely fake (such as the Punisher pushing his fist through a guy's face).....would recommend it to any Punisher comic fan..... ... But the script for "War Zone" is horrendous....First and foremost, movies like "War Zone" depend on a great audio track.....The problem with "War Zone" is that gore does not equal dark.....suffers from too many tone shifts, not enough interesting characters, and some of the worst dialogue in the history of Marvel movies.....I was watching a relic, a film closer to the mindless action more prevalent in the '80s..... ... Entertaining if insanely violent and morally reprehensible thriller that delivers pretty much everything you'd expect from a Punisher movie.....there's strong support from Benz (who seems to be the go-to girl for genre trash after this, Rambo and Saw V), Dash Mihok (as FBI Agent Soap) and Wayne Knight.... ...
