I think this movie would be even better appreciated in full HD or Blu Ray. This movie depends a lot on CGI and it is done very well. Even the daylight scenes seem dull with heavy shadows. ... Full Review

The obvious inspiration is THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY (AT WORLD'S END even drives home the point by echoing Ennio Morricone's score for that Italian Western).
