Pfeiffer gives a solid performance here as well....Instead of really stretching his acting chops, Kutcher drifts through Personal Effects with brooding force, dealing with his pain by shutting down completely, interacting with others....while it wasn't a particularly good movie, it wasn't as horrible as I thought it was going to be..... ...
