Pauly Shore is Deads premise is ingenious.
This is indeed a low budget movie, but maybe with a big studio on board and some more money to play with - and maybe even someone other than Shore directing - it could have been so much better.

From there on in, Pauly Shore is Dead loses its way.
The film's foray into the living death of erstwhile celebrities is almost difficult to watch when coming from and acted out by so many genuine has-beens like Shore.
Best of all is Rico Suave.
