Overall, Outside Providence is a reasonably amiable and likable movie, but not one that does anything terribly well. One might expect such a recent film to look great, and one would be right in this case. ... Full Review

Outside Providence" is winning enough on its own terms. This is a sweet, funny little movie, and with luck it can survive the marketing con job. ... Full Review

Outside Providence begins with a hilarious shot of a long-haired teenage stoner (Shawn Hatosy) riding his beat-up bike. This shot is pure Farrelly, but the rest of the movie doesn't match its humor. ... Full Review
