The music is superb and the performances in the parts were all fun. Every few months or so I watch it again. I like the strange storyline which parallels the Odyssey, but makes it a comedy. I am grateful.... Full review

Cinematically, O'Brother looks a treat, with its muted autumn colours and glorious countryside, while the bluegrass and hillbilly music just keeps 'em toes tapping, and the Coen Bros sock it to us full pelt with mass-bizarre.
