'Nishabd' is Ram Gopal Varma's next which stars superstar Amitabh Bachchan in lead. The film will also launch a new actress, Jiah Khan, who plays Amitabh's love interest in the film.
Amitabh Bachchan plays a wild life photographer in the film. He spots Jiah for the first time when he is watering the plants in a garden. The photographer with an artistic vision starts clicking her pictures of this Jiah playing in the water getting all wet. And from this point their love story begins.

Nishabd elevates the traditional language of cinema to the plane of unrhymed poetry.
That quest for joy, which we forfeit in our pursuit of day-to-day aspirations, is retrieved in this elegiac yet exhilarating film about re-discovering passion and disconnecting it with sex.

as a whole Nishabd fails to deliver
Jiah Khan is beautiful, sexy, and attractive. She does a fine job in her debut.
Revathy as usual is excellent and naturally beautiful, while Shraddha Arya is a talent to watch.
s craft is wonderful in the movie.

In the book, Lolita , from which film-maker Ram Gopal Verma, presumably, drew inspiration, author Nabokov made the plot a lot more messy, but this doesn't make Nishabd any less disgusting for me, a desi oldie with a middle-class mindset.
Of all the fantasy Bollywood has made, a movie of this 18-60 love equation depicted in Nishabd is truly outlandish.

We laugh about her comments on how good Amitabh smells.
If I look confident on screen, the credit goes to Amitabh and Varma.

First-time actress Jiah is very attractive, very effective, but it is Bachchan who makes Nishabd his own.
Ram Gopal Varma's Nishabd is more American Beauty than the Nabokov classic: his Jiah is no pre-pubescent Lolita; she is a full-bodied eighteen-year-old sexually charged machine, waiting to be kickstarted into action.
