What must we understand? Zombies before this movie werent as deverse or creepier. Zombies didn't crave human flesh and from what I heard they didnt attack in groups, which means from the gift of Romero many got inspired and used his... Full review

"I understand the people who think of this film as a masterpiece because it was the first ever zombie movie and everything, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. In my opinion, the filmmakers, especially George A. Romero did pretty good... Full review

This is the movie that started it all, but still isn't the best. The best, in my opinion, is Dawn of the Dead. This one is stretched out a bit, could of been a lot shorter. Other than that though, this... Full review

This is a classic! The best low budget-no budget film ever made. There is no comparison to today's special effects, but it was great in '68.... Full review

Night of the Living Dead is really the first zombie film that used zombies used today. Before Night, a zombie movie would be about a "voodoo priest that resurrects an African man and makes him be his slave", which doesn't really... Full review

The movie that brought zombies into the mass consciousness, made on a shoe string budget, but made with brilliance and smarts, to this day it is still a great movie to watch, especially on a cold Halloween night... Full review

Saw this movie years ago, at age 20, at a midnight movie, and it scared the crap out of me! I think it was its simplicity in telling the story that appeals to me. And the whole issue of black and... Full review

As damn good as Night Of The Living Dead is, these guys have a good time with it.....you're sitting around watching a cheap horror movie with a bunch of pals.....The picture is very well shot, tightly paced, and finely acted.....This makes Night Of The Living Dead a bit of an odd choice for a Rifftrax release.....Essentially, this track is moderately amusing in sporadic bursts, rather than consistently funny throughout..... ... I almost always don't like remakes of original movies.....The best thing probably about the movie is the idea of the alternate ending....The special effects are decent, but by all means no way super.....The plot here is simple and basically the same as the original classic by George Romero..... ... the original's catatonic Barbra simply makes for more memorable cinema than the action movie version.....This film would better be described as cynical rather than nihilistic.....it too provides clear narrative closure and logical causal sequences.....befalls the marvelous Ben at the conclusion of the original can hardly be compared to the more superficial social satire offered by the remake.....feminists cannot embrace the first film because of all the female characters' passivity and stereotyped deference ...
