wow, didn't expect a film like this from Govinda, this film shows his comedy side and his serious side. One of G's best films ive seen rather than his other sorts. The film starts with G wanting to kill himself, he is a rich drunkard and Kader khan a poor person convinces him to stay alive. G takes him home to his big mantion, he is an orphan so he is alone with his servants. Then they start getting drunk together, visiting bars and some funny scenes. Then we find out the reason for G being an alcoholic, he and mamta were in love, and they planned to get married. So he went to her rich father to ask for her hand and he abused him, saying he was poor and he is not worthy of his daughter, how will he support her, he is just a mechanic. G then couldn't bearthe embarasment and walked out saying he will cum bck once he is worthy enough for her. So G went to make it big, he made big deals with big people, during this time he sent letters to mamta about his success but her dad burned them b4 she could saw them. G then wrote a letter telling her to forget about him and her dad showed her this letter. when he returns to see her, G sees she is marrying another person. This lead him to the dark side of being an alcoholic, broken lover. A new accountant is hired in his business, we get to find out that his wife is mamta. A whole farce starts when he starts thinkin he hired him for his wife, he sees her pictures in his home, G in a drunken state kisses her at his party and then hell breaks lose. Rahul is sent to jail, she goes to G saying she would do anything to get him out, he bails him out, rahul throws her out of the hse, G then guilt ridden scores them bck together. The only way a aashiq drunkard can forget his love is to kill himself and he dies in her arms. I loved this film ,better than i expected, would highly recommend.
