I'm a young man who was struck with bipolar disorder about 4 years ago. To make a long and ugly story short (failed education, homelessness), bipolar disorder devestated my life. Richard Gere gives a good account of a person like myself.... Full review

Yahoo movies recommended that I wouldnt like this movie, and I also thought I wouldnt like this movie. I didnt even want to watch this movie. But I watched it and I liked it. It shouldnt be rated R all though... Full review

It is sad but it was until I saw the movie that I realized my son is bipolar, doctors have a very difficult time to dignose this sickness, there should be more movies about mental illness, it helped me to talk... Full review

This movie is supposed to be about a guy with manic-depressive disorder. Richard Gere has no idea what actual manic depressives go through. In one scene he is so high that he almost jumps off a building. Give me a break.... Full review
