OK from reading other comments it is apparent that people either love or hate this movie, as always seems to be the way with movies like this. My husband and I rented this movie for two reasons, the description on the... Full review

Don't know why there is so much hate towards this film, I watched it expecting a bad movie, thanks to all you guys, but its a perfectly entertaining ghost story. A priest (Vincent Gallo) descends into labyrinthine catacombs beneath Moscow's surface... Full review

MOSCOW ZERO is a really dark, mystical and supernatural film. The plot is very straight to follow since it's just about a quest to find SERGEI (played by Rade Serbedzija) an old friend of the father OWEN (played by Vincent Gallo)... Full review

After watching this film I decided that it was so awful that I must join IMDb and write a review to warn other people of the pit falls of renting/buying this film. To be fair to the film there is only... Full review

Very interesting movie. I liked the atmosphere of the church at the beginning and the progressive way down to hell, physically and emotionally, of the characters. I would recommend it. Besides, I liked the actors. Seeing Val, even if he is... Full review
The plot in this movie is very thin, and there is not much acting. Val Kilmer--I don't know why he agreed to do this movie--plays a minor role as a gang leader. In short, the movie is tedious to watch. One... Full review

I suffered the watching of this movie at Sitges Festival last month. If there would be a possibility of "unfilm" a movie to avoid its existence, this should be the first in the list. María Lidón isn't a director, she is... Full review

This is the movie's biggest disappointment:....it's an interesting movie for the most part.....Despite having taken more then two years to find its way to DVD (from Sony Pictures on a no-frills disc), MOSCOW ZERO is not a bad film.....according to certain on-line sources, the movie was actually filmed in stifling underground tunnels that made it extremely uncomfortable for the actors and crew.....The setting is by far MOSCOW ZERO's most interesting aspect.... ... Moscow Zero 's subsequent and total inability to hold the viewer's interest even momentarily is nothing short of staggering, and it's ultimately difficult to recall a more objectionable direct-to-video endeavor in recent memory. Moscow Zero (December 13/08) Asinine and interminable, Moscow Zero immediately establishes itself as an art-house mess that succeeds only in alienating the viewer with its nonsensical storyline and flatter-than-flat characters. ... The total lack of even marginally developed characters only exacerbates the film's many problems....all but assures the movie's colossal failure.....Asinine and interminable, Moscow Zero immediately establishes itself as an art-house mess that succeeds only in alienating the viewer with its nonsensical storyline and flatter-than-flat characters.....the admittedly talented cast (which also includes Joaquim de Almeida and Joss Ackland) is left with little to do other than spout eye-rollingly pompous instances ...
