The film has the enviable luxury of always being able to fall back on three extraordinary actors when something goes awry.....Moonlight Mile is sloppy, but that sloppiness is a result of passion.....Susan Sarandon, in particular, makes even the most out-there lines in Silberling's fanciful script forceful, convincing and sometimes heartbreaking.....I do think that it suffers from its narrative shapelessness.....The Story of Joan of Arc , and this is the perfect role for him:.... ...
