Catch it : "Mission: Impossible III" kicks off the summer movie season with a bang, re-igniting the action genre with spectacular stunts and--believe it or not--a comprehensible plot.
It's the way sequels should be: strong casting (including Laurence Fishburne , Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Billy Crudup , Maggie Q and Simon Pegg), breathless excitement, and characters with families and personality to remind us that, yes, action heroes are people, too.

You have these characters going through some of the most heartbreaking, most terrifying, most horrifying, most thrilling, most fun moments, and you believe all of them within the context of the genre.

For me, when Julia transforms in to an expert killer, shooting with accuracy, swapping gun cartridges with easy, and flipping around with balance, confirmed the absurdity and stupidity of the film.
Unfortunately, I went to this movie with no expectations and was still bored and frustrated with a combination of a poor script, bad acting, and a pointless plot.

Lest we forget how gosh darn brilliant Tom Cruise is, a montage of his greatest movie moments are cobbled together in a not-so modest tribute.
Of course you've got to have some thumping audio to go with those visuals so composer Michael Giacchino gets to work adapting Lalo Schifrin's original TV theme tune in Scoring The Mission.

Mission: Impossible III" is not a bad movie by any means.
As a whole, there's nothing here that will really help you understand why this movie failed at the box office.
Although I've watched and enjoyed the "Mission: Impossible" movies

Paramount gives Tom Cruise a surprisingly fond farewell with this Mission....Laurence Fishburne relishes the opportunity to supply imperial scowls and devious smiles as Hunt's IMF boss.....On "Visualizing the Mission," Cruise (in obvious producer mode) extols the virtues of pre-vising a film, but Abrams reveals how his planning of the film accommodated room for error;.... ...
