MKMJA could have been a delightful and entertaining flick but in spite of the refreshing concept it turns out to be boring.....That's what makes this two hour long movie painfully boring....Ashwini Kalsekar plays her loud character well.....The makers have been harping on the 'different' treatment but, except for the fantasy part, the movie is plain predictable.....The music, barring the last song, is awful..... ... The film has such an original screenplay and an original thought behind it.
Madhureeta Anand's [the director] treatment is so funny that it would have you in splits.
We are telling the story in an entertaining tone.

It could have been an interesting film, but weak characterisations - those played by the likes of Suhasini Mulay, Ashwani Kalsekar, Aanjjan Srivastav (well, Mr Wagle too has fallen victim to adding alphabets and consonants to names for better luck!
If this had been a mindless entertainer where characters vanish as suddenly as they appear, one would not have raised these questions, but the film is supposed to be a quest into the theme in a much more serious mode.

Before becoming a feature film director, Madhureeta made various award-winning documentaries for the BBC and the National Geographic channel and a digital short film on child abuse - "Walking On A Moonbeam".
Considering that the last releases of both Raima and Randeep - "C-Kkompany" and "Ru-Ba-Ru" respectively - were box office duds, one can hope for the best for their "Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye".

Raima, the forgotten doormat heroine tries her best to cope up with her rotten marriage and routine motherhood, while her chauvinist husband, Arbaaz Khan, has a bit on the side with a carrot-crunching hottie.
When she can take it no more, she conjures her own private genie (bare-chested Randeep Hooda with a flute and faux fur) who tells her to follow her dreams and find her happiness.

In fact, Randeep Hooda and Madhureeta really bonded very well on the sets and Arbaaz and Raima set the house on fire with their friendship, setting many a tongues wagging!
A perfect cast for Madhureeta in MKMJA
