amandaeshank A good holiday movie

I thought that this movie was good to get some holiday motivation. It was one of those cheesy feel good moral movies without so much of the cheese! I didn't expect to like it but I actually did.

It was humorous. The previews definatley made it one of those movies i had to go sit through with the family. I hate having to go watch those movies where there are no blood, guts, or explosives, but watching my mother cover my brother's ears about made me pee myself. It was a pretty cute movie. The dog definately made me think of my dog at my mother's house. It was a relation because i think my dog has some issues upstairs. It did have a couple of times where out of no where you would hear some explicid words thrown out. I think anyone who had to deal with a dog like that would let them slip too. They made the entire story line very realistic and did a great job by picking the actors.

Well, I really like Owen Wilson, but this movie was a big disappointment. I didn't expect much from it, and that's exactly what I got. The acting performance was pretty terrible. I think maybe they were hoping the dog would steal the show, and I guess that Marley's performance was the most sincere. Still, this movie just didn't do it for me. I'm not even sure who the target audience was. Perhaps my mom would enjoy this movie, but just maybe. It wasn't exciting and I didn't laugh hardly at all. So, in my opinion you might as well save your money on this one.

Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson have a lot of chemistry in Marley and Me. I was surprised at the depth and emotion of this movie. I wasn't expecting it...I certainly wasn't expecting to cry at the end either. This movie is very lovable and definitely a purchaser. I can't wait to go see it again! Aniston was fabulous along with WIlson, they both show that they can do the comedy along with the drama. I'm so used to seeing Owen in Jock humor that it's nice to see him in this. I loved this movie and I think you will too! Definitely rent it if you don't get a chance to see it in the theaters!

I am biased on this one. I would have to try very hard not to love a film with a lovable pooch complemented by the stunning Jennifer Aniston. What’s even better is a movie with the above qualities that actually delivers charm. Marley and Me does just that. If you love animals, positive energy, and a quality upbeat film then check this out. Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson make a great combination. With so many different levels for viewers to connect on, this is a must see touching film. My advice I to wait until it is on DVD and share it with your pooch!!

Marley and Me is an American comedy film directed by David Frankel with the film stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston and released on 25th December 2008 which set a largest record for Christmas day box office in ticket sales. This movie is mainly focused on the dog named Marley, who is a complete hellion and chews up everything whatever he comes across. In the movie John and Jenny both husband and wife work as an up-coming journalist. As month’s pass by jenny contemplate motherhood, so john adopts a dog to see if they are capable of raising their family. Now the real movie begins, as the dog that john and jenny domesticates proves to be vigorously incorrigible. Soon jenny becomes pregnant but drops the baby early in her first trimester. So they again go for a honeymoon leaving the dog in young women’s care. Now jenny gives birth to a healthy boy and than one more boy and one more girl so she leaves her job to look after the family. As years pass by Marley reveals the symptoms of old age and in next to no time dies. This last scene is so catastrophe that tears will flow through your eyes. Really this is a comedy cum tragedy movie.

Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson brings David Frankel’s, “Marley and Me” to life with great comedic responses to a very naughty family pet. Learning to love unconditionally, patience and how to deal with difficult times as a family, Marley and Me teaches family values in a very funny way. You will enjoy watching all the mischief that Marley gets into and how Aniston and Wilson’s characters gain insight into their own personal defects as they attempt to shoulder the responsibility of having a family. Although, the ending is bittersweet and may bring you to tears, you will not forget this light hearted comedy for the holiday season.
