In a nutshell, Marigold is a classic case of 'Bad Cinema'.....On the whole, Marigold is a terrible film with gloomy prospects.....An apology of a story, a powerless screenplay, shoddy visual effects, poor music and nightmarish direction, that's the ideal description of Marigold .....Salman Khan is terrible and so is his dialogue delivery..... ... At the end of it all, "Marigold" isn't such a bad film.
A dry spell begins in the Rajasthani splendour of the deserts where Prem wants to marry Marigold but he's betrothed to a human Christmas tree (played by an out-of-sorts Nandana Sen), who loves the American guest Barry (Ian Bohen) who loved Marigold earlier.

Yes, the movie is that bad.
Marigold is about an arrogant, rude and demanding American actress, Marigold Lexton (Ali Larter) who lands in India with an offer for a plum role in an Indian movie.

The first quarter of the film is spent in demonstrating the flaws in Marigold, the character.
Marigold (Ali Larter) is a self-absorbed girl with a very bad temper.
Ali Larter is good and carries her role with ease.
But sadly the moment never comes.

Ali Larter is as fresh as Marigold , the flower, not the movie.
