The movie and the songs continue to thrill me.....Like all good cinema and musical numbers, the Chaiyya Chaiyya sequence was also a collaborative effort --....Main Hoon Na opens and ends with two dramatic action sequences....and Shah Rukh as the older "student," Main Hoon Na is Bollywood at its best..... ... Sonu Nigam was named the Best Male Singer (Films) for his playback singing in Main Hoon Na , while Sushmita Sen won the Best Female Performance in a Song (Film) award for Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha in the film.

Despite all these things, Raju has failed to come up with a credible and engrossing screenplay to a story that was made success in Hindi (Main Hoon Na).
Similarities between these two ventures are too obvious to ignore though Raju denies it is a remake of the Hindi flick The success of the Main Hoon Na was Farah Khan's smart characterisation of Shahrukh and intelligent screenplay.
