dreary

Horribly depressing and proceeds to no particular purpose other than to produce something depressing. I can see why these people in this film take drugs. Good acting, I guess. I wish I had the time I used watching this movie back.... Full review

This is an interesting movie, well worth seeing, even though it has substantial failings. Evenness of pace is probably its most debilitating aspect: the slow, steady plod to the climax prevents that climax from being quite as climactic as it should... Full review

I've lost all respect for Cate Blanchett and Sam neill appearing in this load of crap. It was one pointless scene after another with little continuity. Why should anyone care about the losers in this movie? This has to be the... Full review

This movie is so bad I had to shut it off after 45 minutes. The camera angles make no sense and cause confusion. The characters are awfull to watch and listen to, and trying to uncover what the story is about... Full review

The actors did a good job no doubt but the film was just bad, uninteresting uninspiring and frankly I just asked myself when it ended, who will give me back the 2 precious hours of my life that I spent on... Full review

I would rather watch paint drying on a 150 degree day, in a room sealed tight with a broken air-conditioner, than watch another minute of this stupid movie. It is boring, boring and more boring with no sense of direction or... Full review

Fortunately, the acting talent on display surmounts all the obstacles he puts in their way....."Little Fish" suffers only from Rowan Woods' drab, portentous direction, which threatens to undermine its riveting story..... ... Full Review

Strong, raw, occasionally confrontational, often ugly, but always compelling, Little Fish is a film of all-too-rare power, conviction and emotion.....it marks Little Fish as another powerful stand-alone film for the director.....while Martin Henderson, Dustin Nguyen and Sam Neill are all striking in support.....But while Little Fish occupies a similar geography (it's set in Sydney's multicultural south-west, rife with drug addiction and crime), it still manages moments of great beauty and near transcendence ... But I must say it's such a strong film, this. Sam Neill, Noni Hazlehurst, Martin Henderson round out a really wonderful cast. I mean, we expect Cate Blanchett to be great, and she is. But, and Noni Hazlehurst, Sam Neill, they're all very, very good. ... Full Review
