Director Richard Donner's "Lethal Weapon 3" qualifies as a sloppily-scripted, slam-bang actioneer with all the subtlety of a brick through a plate glass window. Nevertheless, if you aren't too picky about its problems, "Lethal Weapon 3" can be a lot of... Full review

The third "Lethal Weapon" movie proves that a great idea can fall many steps down from its original state. With a lame plot and an even lamer bad guy, "Lethal Weapon 3" barely gets a recommendation. Thumbs up.... Full review

Of course, it just wouldn't be a Lethal Weapon film without an abrupt shift in mood from humor to violent death, which comes roughly halfway through when Murtaugh shoots his son's gang-banging friend.
Overall, there isn't anything remarkable about this film, but it manages to deliver all the elements that fans of the series have come to expect.

The movie is like a pile of odds and ends - some suitably entertaining - that never made it into the first two films.
More impressive is Rene Russo, playing an Internal Affairs officer with a kick-ass karate chop.
