Pierce Brosnan is so charming....while Parker Posey is brilliant, as always....somewhat surpasses its rom-com formula roots, the strength of Laws Of Attraction lies in its clever dialogue and well-drawn, credible characters.....All in all, there are a fair few laugh-out-loud moments.... ... It´s a shame because the first half of the film had promise and the makings of what might have ended up as a good comedy.
Laws of Attraction" is emphatically one of those films that fit into the category of wasted time.

A serviceable disc for a not-so-great film.
Moore and Pierce Brosnan play two divorce lawyers whose in-court battles lead to sparks in the bedroom, and eventually an "accidental" marriage in Ireland (an insane storyline divergence that only gets worse).

Laws of Attraction must have looked good on paper.
The actors get a rhythm going with smart, funny dialogue, and you see what the film might have been.
Moore is one of the best actors of her generation; Brosnan has an accomplished ease with comedy.
