This movie is a must see for any lover of high-action gun fights and stone cold characters. Bruce Willis plays a stereotypical, near-emotionless, tough guy, wandering gunfighter trapped in a dusty, backwater western town. Christopher Walken plays an implacable hired gun... Full review

I watched this film last night and was honestly not that impressed. I'll admit that the only reason I got it in the first place was because of the star power. I mean it had Bruce Willis, Michael Imperolli, and Christopher... Full review

Those reading the credits, will notice the story was written by two Japanese brothers. This is a story of Ronin, pure and simple, although set in 1930s Texas. I like it very much and still think it one of Bruce Willis'... Full review

Yet this handsome, carefully wrought film, with its highly atmospheric dusty western street set, finally leaves us feeling that we've seen its carnage too many times before and for too little reason.
Since the local sheriff (Bruce Dern, shrewd and bemused) makes no bones about taking payoffs from both sides, he forthrightly tells Smith to expect no help from him and advises him to leave town as soon as his car is fixed.

Still, for those who love Willis' films or like "westerns" (since this one is set in a small western town with dirt roads and Fords replacing mustangs), this will be an enjoyable flick.
By the end of the movie he looks like he's been run through the ringer, but what this film lacks (compared to his other films) is any fun to break up all of the violent action.
