Actually, one of the better films....Maggie is tired of the years of drama....Saddled with a horrible name (which no doubt led to its quick demise at the box-office), the film is better than one would expect from its title and DVD cover.....it has some truly memorable performances......and I have to be honest with you, the film is a breathtaking achievement for all involved..... ... Questions are never good for a thriller.....Hill and Moore find a few sequences of truth (though nothing L in the relationship between Billy and his newly discovered young son works at all ) and you can't help but feel the internal strife Spacek is suffering from.....Perhaps Lake City 's final fatal flaw is the indie ideal to go low key instead of high energy.....Lake City lacks the one thing that makes all edge of your seat experiences viable:.... ... There are emotional revelations mixed in with the genre cliches, and they help make "Lake City" a respectable and fairly decent movie. Except: "Lake City" isn't boring, and most films in this genre are. ... Full Review
