Kyon Ki

Salman in a mental asylum, again like 'tere naam', his love for kareena. time pass watch. A very powerful film and very disturbing. Basically sallu is admitted into a mental asylum that contains kareena as a nurse, jackie as a doctor and om puri as the owner. Sallu is in there on accusation of murder and declared insane. He creates mischief and be's a brat in the asylum. Om doesn't like this and gives him several electric shocks. Jackie recognises sallu, his father had helped him in the past and so jackie becomes to love him and fend for him. (sallu's past) He loved a girl (rimi) called maya, on an assumption she cud swim he throws her into a pool and walks away. But she drowns and that leads him to the asylum. Jackie wants kareena to cure him with love, so she does this to which she really falls in love with him and he becomes normal. Om doesn't like this at all and doesnt want his only daughter to marry an insane, so he doesn't give permission for sallu to leave the asylum. To get rid of sallu he sticks him on the electric shock machine and turns him into a vegetable (poor sallu). Jackie can't stand his condition so he kills him. This effects kareena and turns her into an insane. It's like a circle, chain reaction. Watch is u have the heart!!!

Kyon Ki is a tedious and laborious film which fails to touch or move the viewer. Technically the film is worth a mention for Sabu Cyril's stylish art direction. In fact in the original this track was told through a single song. ... Full Review

Rimi Sen is required to look gorgeous and does that in style. A very poor research level for the film. Jackie is woefully out of tune and looks something the cat left behind. You have the predictable scenes of people acting loony and stupid. ... Full Review
