Like all capable spook sojourns, "Kaal" takes a bit of time to grow on you.
The best thing debutant director Soham Shah has done is to take his ingenious plot into the great wild outdoors.

It might have been a very good film.
You might differ, and want to watch a mindless horror movie which, actually, has very little to do with tigers.
Special: Showcasing Kaal Krish (John Abraham) is a tiger expert.

There're no superfluous moments, no song breaks and no diverting brakes in this full-on horror film.

Apun ka Choice
The upbeat mood is retained in the second number Kaal Dhamaal which is an item number shot on Shahrukh and Malaika Arora.
While the former is an instrument piece set in the wilderness of a jungle, the latter is more like a tribute to the famous tunes of Karan Johar's previous flicks.
