Thriller, wierd film, has 5 a class actors: lara, esha, john, vivek, Ajay.To start off this the song with SRK and malaika was hot. Esha and John are animal researchers and they go to a jungle to investigate on some tiger poachings and human killings. A group of tourists/hunters go to the jungle aswell for a bit of camping and fun. In the jungle there are several unknown killings happening, the star casts get trapped in the jungle and one by one each person starts dying. These killlings are wierd as it is not human and animal doing. Then ajay comes in as a guide for these advernturers, ltlle did they kno that he was the cause of the killings and he is not alive, he is a spirit out for revenge, on those who disobey him and the jungle rules. He warns the adventurers on several aspect but they don't listen and they die.Ajay plays an awesome negative role, his twist is awesome as he controls the jungle and the animals and kills thse who do wrong in his jungle. All die except lara, john and vivek (poor esha dies). Watchable film, prepare to be wierded out

'Kaal' was quite a mess of a movie. I found most of it unintentionally hilarious. Soham's direction is pretty unstable. It's as if hé himself is trying to see what happens next (when it's all quite predictable). All the performances are very bad. The camera seems to focus a lot on John Abraham's torso and the actor himself is mostly wooden. Ajay Devgan sounds sleepy all the time and looks uninterested. This is new-age cinema but could have been much better. 'Kaal' shows debutant director Soham's 'Bhoot' as well as the 'Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham' hangover. He happens to have directed Ram Gopal Varma and Karan Johar in their respective films. The sound is so typically 'Bhoot'. Not surprising for it is Dwarak Warrier at work here too. The look of the film and that of the cast has also been given a lot of attention to, so typically Karan Johar. But unfortunately this is one of the downers of the film. Creaky doors are out. Rustles in the jungle are in. Like all capable spook sojourns, "Kaal" takes a bit of time to grow on you. But once you fall into the fearful rhythm, you are in for a rollicking scare. One thing is for sure - there has never been a horror film quite like this one.
