I found JUMPER a stupid, superficial and meaningless film.
Often special effects enhance a movie, but when special effects are used to create a 'wow' factor
MARGARET: A better filmmaker too.

You have a great sci-fi concept and a proven director all that is left now is execution, which is where Jumper missed the boat.
To be honest, I remember feeling the same sort of anxiety about another, somewhat similar project about a year and a half ago when Doug Liman was attached to Jumper.

This was a really good movie that I enjoyed a lot.
Alcohol is consumed in several scenes in a bar area, but with nothing bad shown.
I really recommend this movie, particularly an edited version such as ClearPlay.

If Limans pic has a flaw, its the way in which it introduces Samuel L Jacksons fanatical jumper-hunter before weve had our fill of Christensens fabulously selfish lifestyle and the unlimited potential it affords.

Confined to the small screen, Jumper seems even more mediocre and inconsequential than it did on the big screen.
Part of the problem is that the film has an unlikable anti-hero and its star (Christensen) lacks the charisma to make audiences actually like or care for the character.

The stunning special effects make the stars work hard but they work hard to make sure theyre not upstaged by the movie magic around them as director Doug Liman keeps the pace fast to ensure exciting entertainment.
