I thought that the movie looked okay in the previews, but I was still disappointed after the movie was over. The characters were undeveloped and flimsy, no explanations were held for anything, and the story was very dry and bland. The... Full review

To sum it up quickly: Too much setup. This entire film should have been the first half-hour of a bigger story. They try to make this just a first chapter, like an "origin" story in a superhero film, but if... Full review

As a professional pretentious person, it would be easy to harsh on "Jumper," which is out today.
Happily, "Jumper" runs a breakneck 88 minutes 30 minutes shorter than both of Mr. Liman's previous films, and the director never runs out of inventive new teleporting tricks to show off.

As it stands now I didn't care much for Jumper and wouldn't recommend a sequel, as much as they left it open for one.
That scene was actually pretty good, however after being attacked Christensen decides that instead of hiding or trying to figure out why he had been assaulted, he instead tries to find his old high school crush and go on a romantic vacation.

The film is fun and exciting, and sets itself up for sequels.
Though the movie is decent, the bonus features grind down good feelings towards the film bit by bit.
After watching everything, I (sadly) categorize Jumper as a miss.

Short on imagination and anchored by a wan hero, Jumper is a flight of fancy that never fully takes off.
It doesn't help that the performances are bland (particularly those of Christensen and Bilson) and that what comes out of their mouths is uninspired.
