Sly shows up in this week's entry, "Judge Dredd," a futuristic action disaster from 1995, and so does Rob Schneider, which seems altogether wrong.

Eric's Bad Movies:....The arresting officer is Judge Dredd, who in this futuristic, Lycra-wearing society is a cop, judge, and executioner all in one.....That's a pretty ridiculous reason to dislike a movie, especially when Rob Schneider is right there in front of you.....As is often the case with futuristic tales based on comic books, Judge Dredd is campy and ridiculous, mostly unintentionally..... ... this is a real great movie, which was very good.
In all honesty, this could be the worst movie I have ever seen.

Stallone plays Dredd with a hulky half-humor; his great jaw and froggy-scary voice are already the stuff of comics.
Dredd has his counterpart in Rico (Armand Assante), like Dredd a product of the finest DNA science can devise but as malevolent as Dredd is staunch.

Early in the movie, Dredd mistakenly arrests and sentences Fergie.
"JUDGE DREDD" probably won't win any Academy Awards, but it does get my vote for best credit of the year: armour by Gianni Versace.
