The early version of "The Matrix," this dreadful, corny, ridiculous sci-fi disgrace is a bomb right from the start. Watch it and realize how far Keanu has come in just eight years. Just awful. Thumbs way down.... Full review

This movie is great because it has stuck out and been remembered for over a decade. No one is going to remember movies like Casino (1995), Flicka or Hostage (rated B). Somehow, this movie has outlived all of these. I've heard... Full review

While it had an interesting storyline(running alongside Bladerunner), the acting was unforgiveable. Keanu was a poor choice. A plank of wood has more expressions than Keanu. I cannot understand why people keep casting him in smart-people roles; cops, detectives, saviors, ultimate... Full review

This movie was an excellent warm up to the Matrix. In fact if you enjoyed the Matrix, you may see some subtle value to this movie as well. There is an excellent story here which is taken aback by poor execution.... Full review

Fast-paced at first, then slows down a little, but lots of action and really good visuals. The acting was below par, especially Reeves, which is unfortunate since he's the lead. You are led to not like the guy from the start,... Full review

Written by William Gibson, who adapted his own short story, and directed by Robert Longo, ``Johnny Mnemonic,'' now on home video, is inescapably a very cool movie. Johnny, the film's hero, is a ``mnemonic courier,'' a 21st century delivery boy for the underground movement. ... Full Review
